- 03We inspect and confirm a figureWe check damp, floor, running gear and the interior in front of you, and explain how we reached the figure rather than just quoting it.
- 04Free collection and paymentIf you accept, we complete the paperwork with you and arrange payment by secure bank transfer at handover, then take the caravan away. Nothing is paid online at any stage.
There is no single published book price for touring caravans, so any figure given over the phone is based on what you have told us and is confirmed when we see the caravan. Accurate information up front is what keeps the two the same.
What decides what your caravan is worth
Damp and structure
The single biggest factor. A dry caravan with recent damp readings sits at the top of its range; known ingress moves it down predictably rather than dramatically.
Layout and berths
Buyers shop by layout. Fixed bunks for families, and fixed island beds with an end washroom for couples, hold demand better than unusual layouts of the same age.
Condition inside and out
Panels, seals, upholstery and how it presents. A clear-out and a wash genuinely change how a caravan values; big pre-sale spending usually does not pay for itself.
Documentation
CRiS document or original invoice, service and habitation history, damp reports, gas and electrical certificates, all the keys and the handbooks.
Running gear and tyres
Brakes, bearings, hitch and tyre age. Caravan tyres time out long before they wear out, so date codes matter to a trade buyer.
Extras and timing
Motor mover, awning, solar and upgraded heating add practical value. Demand also rises through spring and softens over winter.

Collection and payment
Collection is free everywhere we buy — England, Scotland and Wales — and the caravan stays exactly where it is until the day we come for it. We collect from driveways, farm and compound storage, holiday parks and seasonal pitches. If the site needs written authority to release the caravan, we will tell you what they usually ask for before the visit.
Payment is arranged directly with you at handover by secure bank transfer, once the caravan has been inspected and the paperwork is signed. We take no deposits, no reservation fees and no payments online — in either direction.
