What we store

Some small pieces of information are saved in your own browser so the site behaves sensibly as you move around it.

• Your vehicle shortlist, so saved vehicles are still there when you come back
• Recently viewed vehicles, so you can pick up where you left off
• Basic technical information needed for pages to load correctly

Where it lives

Shortlist and recently viewed information stays in your browser on your own device. It is not sent to us unless you submit an enquiry that includes it.

Clearing it

Clearing your browser storage or site data removes your shortlist and recently viewed list. You can also empty the shortlist from the shortlist page.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (the Google tag) to understand how the site is being used. Google sets cookies in your browser on our behalf, which makes Google a third party for this purpose.

It is not used to identify you personally, we do not use it for advertising, and we never match it to the details you send in an enquiry.

If you would rather not be counted, you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, use your browser's private mode, or install Google's own opt-out add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking it does not affect how the site works.

• Which pages and vehicle listings are viewed, and in what order
• Roughly where in the country a visit came from (town or region level, never a precise address)
• Which type of device, browser and screen size was used
• How visitors arrived — for example a search, a link or a direct visit
