High mileage or MOT expired
Van engines cover distance for a living. A run-out MOT, a long period stood still or an advisory list is normal, and we arrange collection ourselves.
Mechanical and habitation faults
Cambelt due, DPF or injector issues, a leaking pop-top canvas, a fridge that will not run on gas, damp behind the units — say so and it is priced in openly.
Outstanding finance
Finance on a van is common. Ask your lender for a settlement figure before the visit and it is settled as part of the paperwork.
How the valuation works

- 03We inspect and confirm a figureWe look over the base vehicle, the conversion, gas and electrics and any damp, then explain how we reached the figure rather than just quoting it.
- 04Free collection and paymentIf you accept, we complete the paperwork with you, arrange payment by secure bank transfer at handover and take the van away. Nothing is paid online at any stage.
What decides what your campervan is worth
Base van, mileage and service history
On a campervan the van underneath usually leads the figure. Engine and gearbox condition, mileage, cambelt history, rust and a stamped service record all count.
Who did the conversion
A factory or well-known converter's build with paperwork values above an unrecorded self-build of the same age, because a buyer can see what was fitted and how.
Gas, electrics and certification
Gas safety work, a habitation-style electrical check, a properly installed leisure battery, solar and split-charge system. Certificates remove risk, and less risk means a firmer figure.
Roof, layout and berths
A working elevating roof, a usable bed layout, belted travel seats and a practical kitchen keep the pool of buyers wide. Unfinished interiors narrow it.
How it is registered and insured
Whether the V5C still says panel van or has been changed to motor caravan, and whether it is insured as a campervan, affects how easily the next owner can use and insure it.
Bodywork, tyres and timing
Corrosion around sills and wheel arches, tyre age, and the season. Campervan demand rises sharply through spring and softens over winter.

Collection and payment
Collection is free everywhere we buy — England, Scotland and Wales — and the van stays where it is until the day we come for it. It does not need to be road legal on the day; tell us if it needs moving on a transporter and we arrange that ourselves.
Payment is arranged directly with you at handover by secure bank transfer, once the van has been inspected and the paperwork is signed. No deposits, no reservation fees and nothing paid online in either direction.
