We would rather be straight with you than optimistic. A figure given before the vehicle is seen is based on what you have told us, and it is subject to the details being accurate and to inspection. Damp, damage and mechanical faults do not stop a sale — they are simply part of the conversation.

The team behind Instant Caravan Sale
Instant Caravan Sale has been buying and selling leisure vehicles for over 15 years. What started as a small Cumbrian operation buying the odd touring caravan has grown into a full-time business that buys and sells caravans, motorhomes and campervans the length and breadth of the UK.
The people you speak to are the same people who value your caravan, inspect it and drive out to collect it. Between them our buyers and workshop team have handled thousands of caravans and motorhomes, so damp readings, chassis corrosion, tired appliances and awkward paperwork are all familiar ground.
That experience is why we can give you a straight figure quickly, and why we are comfortable buying vehicles other buyers turn away.
A recent job: a 2014 Swift Challenger stored in Workington
The problem. The owner had upgraded to a static caravan and the old tourer had been sitting on his parents’ drive in Workington for nearly a year. The rear nearside corner had softening from damp, the tyres were cracked, the last service was three years ago and the battery would not hold a charge. He had listed it privately but the two viewers who came out both walked away after the damp check.
What we did. He sent photos and a short description through WhatsApp in the morning. We called him back within an hour, talked through the damp and the missing service history, and gave him a no-obligation figure the same day. We arranged collection two days later to fit around his shift pattern and asked him to leave the CRiS paperwork on the dashboard.
The outcome. Our driver arrived, checked the caravan against the details, took the CRiS document and a signed handover note, and transferred the agreed amount before loading it. The owner had the money in his account before we left the drive, and his parents had their parking space back the same afternoon.
What happens after collection
A question we are asked often, so here is the honest answer.
Checked and assessed
Every vehicle is inspected properly when it reaches us — bodywork, damp readings, appliances and, on motorhomes and campervans, the base vehicle.
Prepared or moved on
Vehicles suited to retail are cleaned, serviced and prepared for sale. Anything not right for our forecourt goes on through the trade instead.
Paperwork completed
Ownership records are updated and you keep copies of everything signed at handover. Nothing is left hanging over you afterwards.
