Coachbuilt, low-profile and A-class
Two to six berth coachbuilts, low-profiles, over-cab models and A-class motorhomes — Auto-Trail, Swift, Bailey, Elddis, Hymer, Bürstner, Chausson, Rapido, Adria, Fiat, Ford and Peugeot base vehicles.
High mileage is not a problem
Motorhome engines routinely cover big distances. We buy on how the vehicle actually drives and its service record, not on a mileage cut-off.
MOT expired or off the road
A run-out MOT, a flat battery or a motorhome that has not moved for two seasons is normal. We arrange collection ourselves, so it does not need to be driven anywhere.
Damp in the habitation area
Damp readings, soft floor sections, a leaking rooflight or delamination affect the valuation. Tell us before the visit; the final offer is confirmed on viewing.
Mechanical faults and warning lights
Cambelt due, injector problems, gearbox noise, a habitation appliance that no longer lights on gas — say so and it is priced in openly rather than discovered later.
Outstanding finance
Finance on a motorhome is common. Ask your lender for a settlement figure before the visit and it is handled as part of the paperwork.

- 03We inspect and confirm a figureWe check the base vehicle, damp, floor and the habitation area in front of you, then explain how the figure was reached rather than just quoting it.
- 04Free collection and paymentIf you accept, we complete the paperwork with you, arrange payment by secure bank transfer at handover and drive or transport the motorhome away. Nothing is paid online at any stage.
Any figure discussed on the phone is based on what you have told us and is confirmed when we see the motorhome. Accurate information up front is what keeps the two the same.
What decides what your motorhome is worth
Base vehicle and mileage
On a motorhome the van underneath often matters more than the habitation area. Engine, gearbox, mileage, cambelt history and how it drives all feed straight into the figure.
Habitation condition and damp
Damp readings, floor soundness, seals and rooflights. A recent habitation service with clean readings puts a motorhome at the top of its range.
Layout and berths
Fixed rear beds, island beds and four-berth family layouts with belted travel seats hold demand. A rare layout narrows the pool of buyers and softens the figure.
Service history and MOT
Engine servicing, habitation servicing, MOT history and receipts for work done. Documents remove risk, and less risk means a firmer figure.
Tyres, brakes and age of rubber
Motorhome tyres usually time out before they wear out, so date codes matter. Brakes, discs and corrosion underneath are all checked on the day.
Extras and timing
Solar, a reversing camera, a towbar, bike racks, an awning and upgraded heating add practical value. Demand also rises through spring and softens over winter.

Collection and payment
Collection is free everywhere we buy — England, Scotland and Wales — and the motorhome stays exactly where it is until the day we come for it. You do not need to tax or insure it for a journey, and it does not need to be driveable on the road; tell us if it needs to be moved on a transporter and we will arrange that ourselves.
Payment is arranged directly with you at handover by secure bank transfer, once the motorhome has been inspected and the paperwork is signed. We take no deposits, no reservation fees and no payments online — in either direction.
